Telefónica urges Europe to create a more transparent market

Telefónica’s Big Data Director Richard Benjamins has urged the European Union to unify the continent’s telecoms market and level the playing field between operators and OTT players. Empirix makes big data analytics purchase

Network performance specialist Empirix has acquired real-time analytics firm Verios Software & Systems for an undisclosed sum. SK Telecom platform knows what subscribers are doing

South Korean operator SK Telecom has launched a platform that it says will provide real time information on what its customers are doing.
